My clinical work is grounded in the intersection between individual suffering and the broader social, cultural and economic structures that shape contemporary life. I believe that experiences such as professional burnout, career transitions, financial anxiety and the challenges of living between cultures cannot be understood as isolated symptoms alone. They often reflect deeper tensions involving identity, belonging, work, recognition and life direction.
I am a licensed psychologist based in Brazil (CRP 06/101877), authorized for online practice, with a Master’s and PhD focused on mental health, human development and the construction of meaning in everyday life. My academic research explored the meanings of work and, later, the meanings of consumption through life histories — a trajectory that today informs my clinical understanding of how career, money, social expectations and personal value affect emotional well-being.
My approach integrates different theoretical perspectives, including Recovery approach to Mental Health, Psychoanalytic theory, Schizoanalysis, Health Psychology and Intercultural Psychology. This allows for a clinically grounded and culturally sensitive practice, capable of supporting both acute emotional crises and longer-term processes of reflection and transformation.
Throughout my professional journey, I have worked in academic research, teaching, public mental health services and private clinical practice, developing experience with individuals, groups and institutions. Today, I focus on online psychotherapy for Brazilians living abroad, international residents in Brazil and adults navigating significant life transitions.
In therapy, my goal is to create an ethical, structured and reflective space where you can better understand how your personal history connects with the demands of contemporary life — so that you can make more conscious decisions, strengthen your autonomy and rebuild your relationship with your own sense of value.

Here, on this Blog, on the Coragem Pessoal on Youtube, Therapy Route International Directory of Therapists, and across my social media platforms (@bebravepsico), I try to move beyond overly technical psychological language and communicate in a way that feels more natural, accessible and connected to everyday life — bringing psychological perspectives and theory into reflections about daily experience.
