How do online sessions work?
Sessions are held via video call in a secure and confidential virtual environment. The link to our online room is sent to you automatically as soon as your appointment is confirmed.
I live outside Brazil. Is the time zone an issue?
No. When you access the available schedule, the calendar automatically converts the available times to your local time zone. Sessions can be held in Portuguese or English.
What if something unexpected happens and I need to cancel?
If you cannot attend, please let me know directly via WhatsApp or use the rescheduling link in your confirmation email. Rescheduling in advance helps keep the therapeutic process flowing smoothly.
Do you accept health insurance?
Sessions are private. However, I provide an invoice and detailed receipt so that you can request reimbursement directly from your health insurance or international insurance provider, according to the rules of your contract.
Does online psychotherapy work?
Yes. Online psychotherapy is regulated by the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology (CFP Code of Ethics) and offers an ethical, confidential, and structured space for psychological support.
Do you see Brazilians who live abroad?
Yes. I work with Brazilians living abroad, especially people going through migration processes, cultural adaptation, and life transitions.
Do you see foreigners living in Brazil?
Yes. My clinical work also includes intercultural issues and cultural adaptation.
How do I know which type of service is right for me?
We can discuss this during the first contact, considering your current concerns, goals, and life context.
